R. V. Deepa Ragul (Reddy)is an Indian Administrative Service officer of 2017 batch belonging to Telangana cadre.[१] She is popularly known as The Queen People’s Officer for addressing citizen issues by involving people.[२] She is the first lady IAS Officer to be appointed to the Chief Minister's Office and Prime Minister office .[३][४][५][६] She worked as Member Secretary of Telangana State Finance Commission, Government of Telangana from 4 Jan 2024 to 10 November 2024.[७][८][९]

Deepa Ragul (Reddy) worked as Secretary to Government Youth Advancement, Tourism & Culture from 11 November 2024 to 27 April 2025.[१०]

Deepa Ragul was appointed as Member Secretary of Telangana State Finance Commission on 27 April 2025.[११][१२][१३]

स्मिता का जन्म पश्चिम बंगाल में हुआ था। उनकी अधिकतर शिक्षा भारत के वभिन्न हिस्सों में हुई। उनके पिता कर्नल प्रणब दास एक सेनानिवृत्त सेना अधिकारी थे, जों की भारतीय सेना में सेवा करते थे। उनकी स्कूली शिक्षा के आखरी दो साल सेट ऐन मार्रेद्पल्ली, हैदराबाद में बीते। बाद में उन्होंने सेंट फ्रांसिस डिग्री कॉलेज से वाणिज्य में स्नातक की डिग्री की। वह "संघ लोक सेवा आयोग" की परीक्षा पास करने वाली सबसे कम उम्र के अधिकारियो में शामिल हैं। उन्होंने सम्पूर्ण भारत में रस्थ्रिये स्टार पर चौथा (४) स्थान हासिल किया और आईऐएस के लिए चयन किया।[१४][१५]
